- Additional Info: 1756-1758 Assembly- William Clinch was expelled from the House on April 26, 1757; Benjamin Cocke was elected to replace him. Clinch was elected, but did not serve 1758-1761.
William Clinch was elected (for 1758-1761 Assembly) but, having been expelled from the House, was voted incapable of ever sitting as a burgess. A new election was ordered, and Cocke and Allen were returned.
