  • Additional Info: ​Rice Hooe was elected in 1699 to fill the vacancy left by John Waugh: on May 4, 1699, the House resolved that, "being a Clergyman," [Waugh] was ineligible to serve as a burgess.  A new election was held, Hooe was elected and took his seat on May 18, 1699.
