  • Additional Info: ​1752-1755 Assembly- Gabriel Jones accepted the office of county coroner during the 1753 session and was succeeded by a Mr. Perkins.
    Hampshire became a county on May 1, 1754; its first delegates probably were seated during 1755.
    Prior to the Assembly which convened March 24, 1756, a riot occurred at the Augusta election, and a second election was ordered; the county's burgesses did not appear until late in the March 1756 session or early in the September 1756 session.
