- Additional Info: Arrived in Virginia about 1649–1650 under the sponsorship of Colonel William Underwood. Acquired extensive landholdings in Old Rappahannock County through patents and headrights, including a 1,157-acre grant in 1663. Served as a burgess for Rappahannock County from 1672 to 1674. His will was probated in 1683.
- Bio: William Moseley was an early Virginia planter, landowner, and member of the House of Burgesses representing Rappahannock County from 1672 to 1674. He immigrated to Virginia about 1649–1650 and established himself in Old Rappahannock County, where he accumulated significant landholdings through patents and headrights. He married Martha Brasseur and they had five known children. Moseley held the rank of Captain in the colonial militia and remained a prominent figure in the Northern Neck until his death about 1681. His estate was probated in 1683.
