  • Bio Information: WILLIAM RANDOPH, of Wilton, in Henrico County, was born on 22 November 1723 to William Randolph II and Elizabeth Beverley Randolph at Turkey Island. On 8 April 1749 he presented to the House of Burgesses a commission from Lieutenant Governor William Gooch to succeed his brother, Peter, as clerk of the House. He subsequently represented Henrico County in the assemblies of 1752-1755, 1756-1758, and 1758-1761, and he was elected to the assembly of 1761-1765, but died before the House convened on 3 November 1761.
