- Bio Information: THOMAS ELDRIDGE was sworn as clerk of the House on 23 April 1718 and resigned five days later on 28 April. Eldridge practiced law in Henrico County, and from 17 May 1716 to 1 April 1717 served as deputy county clerk. Later he moved to Surry County, where he continued to practice law until his death on 4 November 1740
